Madden NFL 21 Will Lack Smart Delivery on Xbox Series X in Future

During the Inside Xbox presentation, Microsoft took the opportunity to inform that the buyers of the game will be able to enjoy it on the Xbox One or Xbox Series X consoles. However, it will not be thanks to the Smart Delivery program but will offer another type of offer.

During the Xbox 20/20 broadcast, a trailer was unveiled to announce the arrival of Madden NFL 21 on the Xbox Series X. It features Patrick Mahomes, the quarterback of the past Super Bowl-winning team, the Kansas City Chiefs. Also, in the video, you can see the first sequences of Madden NFL 21 on next-generation consoles.

What caught the attention of some is that it was believed that it would be part of Smart Delivery since it was announced that if a player buys this title he will be able to enjoy it either on Xbox One or Xbox Series X. Apart from the experience in the latter console would have improvements and all this would not represent an additional cost, as the company had anticipated in its most recent financial report.

However, there will be restrictions to take advantage of this program to which only some players will have access. Through a press release, it was later discovered that the distributor delved into the issue and mentioned that it is a limited time offer since only those users who buy the Madden NFL 21 game for Xbox One before 2021 (until December 31, 2020) and that they update the version for Xbox Series X before April 2021 (until March 31, 2021) will be those who can enjoy the promotion.

That said, those interested will have to be the first buyers of Madden NFL 21and Xbox Series X. Since they will have to buy each item in practically less than 6 months from its launch. In other words: it is not in the Microsoft Smart Delivery program.
