After some difficult days, the most recent project of Naughty Dog, The Last of Us: Part II, entered fully into the gold phase prior to its launch and today the world met the new and brutal trailer for one of the most anticipated games in recent years. A few weeks after learning what happened to the lives of Ellie and Joel in this world devastated by an emergency situation. The development team revealed that there are more surprises on the way and what was revealed in the story trailer recently was only the beginning.
The new trailer for The Last of Us Part II was featured in a post by Neil Druckmann, the director of the game, on the official PlayStation blog. In it, the creative revealed that as the release date approaches, the development team has the opportunity to show new things and share them with the community in celebration of the arrival of this long-awaited sequel.
“The pace is only going to pick up from here, so keep an eye out for more exciting news as we count the weeks, days, and hours until The Last of Us Part II launches,” Druckmann confirmed on the official blog of PlayStation. “Lastly, since many of you have asked, we’re happy to say pre-orders are back up, including digital versions of The Last of Us Part II on PlayStation Store and physical copies at participating retailers around the world. Physical copies will also be available to purchase at launch, but may vary by region and retailer.”
In that sense, Druckmann asked fans to be attentive to what will happen with the announcements of The Last of Us Part II from today until before June 19, when the game will finally debut on PS4.
