Spider-Man Remastered Version Now Supports PS4 Save Game Files, Fixed Sleep Mode Bug

Spider-Man Remastered

The open-world action game Marvel’s Spider-Man has received a new update on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Now you can transfer the saved game files to the new generation, whereby the sleep mode on the PS5 should no longer be a problem.

For the PlayStation 5, players who bought the Ultimate Edition of Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales can also look forward to Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered. The new edition of the superhero adventure released in 2018 brings some technical improvements and a new face for Peter Parker.

However, after the remastered version was announced at the time, it was said that the save data on the PlayStation 4 would not be able to be transferred to the remastered version. And since this did not go down well with the players, Insomniac Games took the trouble again and made improvements accordingly.

Over the weekend a new update for Marvel’s Spider-Man was released on the PlayStation 4, so that it is now possible to upload the saved game. In the remastered version, you can then download this data so that it can be converted accordingly for the PlayStation 5.

Furthermore, some bugs in Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered have been fixed. Above all, the problem that caused the PlayStation 5 to crash and the database to be rebuilt was eliminated. Accordingly, you should be able to go into sleep mode from now on when you play the new edition without having to panic.

However, it is not yet known whether this will generally allow hibernation to work properly. Sony Interactive Entertainment has not yet spoken out in this regard, so we should continue to be careful.
