Spyro the Dragon returned in 2018 with the Reignited Trilogy, a remastered collection that brought together its 3 classic installments. If that left you wanting more from the purple dragon, you’ll be glad to know that a new rumor says a new installment of Spyro the Dragon would be on the way.
The information comes from The Gaming Revolution, a famous Call of Duty leaker. According to its sources, Activision is planning “a new Spyro game.” So, it seems that soon we will see the purple dragon in another adventure.
It should be mentioned that, for the moment, the source did not share any more information. Thus, we do not know who would be the responsible development studio – it is most likely Toys for Bob – and we also do not know what platforms it is planned for.
