Latest Report Suggests that GTA 6 Is In “Early Development”

Jason Schreier from Kotaku said that Rockstar has now made a number of behind-the-scenes changes to improve working conditions in their studios. More and more employees are offered “flexitime”, which allows them to work with the habits they like if necessary.

Not to forget, the departure of Dan Houser will also have a pretty good impact. He does have creative thinking. However, changes in decisions at the last minute often create problems for its employees. Not to forget, a number of “toxic” managers have been replaced. Rockstar has also replaced the heads of their offices in San Diego, California, and Lincoln, England. Overall, some employees say their workplaces are now better.

“The changes have been good enough for me to stay and give them a chance but let’s see what happens down the road when the pressures of delivering a final product become reality,” said a Rockstar employee.

Schreier recalled that Rockstar’s next big project was Grand Theft Auto 6. Apart from that, GTA 6 was coming, and there were plans to start a “moderately sized” game, which would later be expanded through DLC and updates. GTA 6 seems to be still in early development so that some things can change. However, the idea of ”starting small” is one of Rockstar’s ideas that are already on the table.

It is expected that Grand Theft Auto 6 will be launched in the next two or three years with the “intermediate content” game model. In our previous post, we had reported that GTA 6 could be relaesed for PS5 & Xbox Series X in 2021.
