According to an insider who is considered to be a reliable source, Ubisoft is working behind the scenes on a reboot of the Prince of Persia series. However, the release is only expected in a few years.
According to the rumors of the past, Ubisoft officially announced the Prince of Persia Remake for consoles and PC in September. The new edition will be released as early as January next year for the Xbox One, the PC and the PlayStation 4.
If we believe current rumors, the Prince of Persia Remake will not stop there. Instead, according to unconfirmed reports, a reboot of the popular action-adventure series is in development.
At least this is what the statements of an old insider suggest. We are talking about the Indian Youtuber and insider Lazy Assassin, who confirmed the ongoing work on the Prince of Persia Remake in advance of the official announcement by Ubisoft. According to Lazy Assassin we will have to wait a while before the series celebrates a comeback.
Indian YouTuber who leaked the Prince of Persia Sands of Time remake months in advance says a reboot is also in the works.

As it is said, the release of the Prince of Persia reboot will not take place until 2023 or 2024. Since those responsible at Ubisoft have not wanted to comment on the current rumors so far, the statements by Lazy Assassin should of course be taken with the necessary caution for the time being.
In spite of everything, it is of course conceivable that Lazy Assassin is correct one more time with his statement. Let’s wait and see how things develop.
