Even if the PlayStation versions of the surprise hit Disco Elysium have been very quiet in the last few weeks, the title should still be released in March. The ZA/UM developers assured this upon request.
At the end of last year, the indie developers at ZA/UM announced that the role-playing game Disco Elysium would find its way onto PlayStation systems in a revised version.
After it was announced in the context of the official announcement that the Disco Elysium: Final Cut will be released in March 2021 for the PlayStation 4 and the PlayStation 5, it was recently very quiet about the implementation for the PlayStation systems. Despite everything, there is no need to fear a shift, as the makers of ZA/UM made clear when asked by the players.
As Mikk Luige from ZA/UM assured on Reddit, the Disco Elysium: Final Cut will definitely be released this month on PS4 and PS5. The lack of a date is due to the fact that different storefronts have to work together and the publication has to be synchronized so that all players get the same experience.
So the unveiling of the final release date should only be a matter of time. One of the innovations offered to the players in the course of the Disco Elysium: Final Cut is a localized soundtrack for the dialogues. In addition, new quests have been added, but they will not have any noticeable impact on the main story.
According to their own statements, a dream came true for the developers with the work on Disco Elysium: Final Cut, as all the planned content and features could finally be implemented.
