SEGA and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio have revealed a slew of new features for the upcoming Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties, including the social mini-game LaLaLa Loveland, expanded karaoke tracks, revenge-seeking Reapers, customizable outfits, and a variety of play spots like Game Gear arcade games. The game launches February 12, 2026, on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam.
New Substories
Two fresh substories add flavour to Kiryu’s Okinawa life:
- A Star’s Debut at Stardust: Kiryu hosts at Stardust club as “Kazzy-chan,” charming Hokkaido clients in fancy attire.
- Keep at It, Parents!: Kiryu buries a dirty magazine to shield orphanage kids, only for dog Mame to dig it up – cue a chase.
LaLaLa Loveland
Trade your old flip phone for a LaLaLa Mobile model from CEO Lala Aizawa. Use “Red Thread of Fate Transmission” to connect with flip phone owners, unlock profiles as LaLaLa Friends, and open Loveboxes (hidden in trucks or on people) for rewards scattered in Downtown Ryukyu and Kamurocho.
Cell Phone Customisation
Personalize with straps, antennas, and lock screens – each gives unique effects. Add rhinestones and stickers for flair.
Karaoke Expansions
Sing classics and two new tracks at venues, with friends like Haruka, Majima, and Akko-san joining:
- “Pararirai: Happiness Blooms”: Okinawa tune for orphanage kids, composed by Ryosuke Horii. Videos in English/Japanese.
- “Kamurocho Rhapsody”: Rock ‘n’ roll capturing Kamurocho’s grit.
In Dark Ties, Mine belts “Baka Mitai” – stoic style meets fiery vocals. Invite Kanda for backup.
