The shooter game STALKER 2 will initially appear exclusively for the Xbox Series X. However, a later release for the PlayStation consoles is not excluded. A new trailer already gives an insight into the new adventure.
Yesterday evening, the responsible developers from GSC Game World presented a new trailer for the shooter STALKER 2. It was also confirmed that on which consoles the game will release. However, STALKER 2 will appear as a console launch exclusive for the Xbox Series X. As a result, PlayStation players will have to wait longer than Xbox and PC players to get hands-on the title.
From the very beginning, the developers have endeavoured to bring STALKER 2 closer to both new and established fans. With the first trailer, they also want to show the atmosphere that players can expect. In the series, the zone has always been a critical part, and the Chernobyl nuclear disaster in 1986 was not the only blow that hit the game world.
As early as 2006, the reactor was hit by a second explosion, which in turn created the zone, as is known. A dangerous place full of mutated creatures, deadly radiation and strange, abnormal energy awaits all players.
A zone is an isolated place that poses a threat to all of humanity. Bounty hunters venture into the area to search for treasures and secrets. Some are fleeing their past while others are blinded by money. And players will take on the role of one of these STALKERS.
The developers promise an immersive world in which the monsters, as well as the factions, interact permanently with each other, while also bringing into play an expanded version of the living world that was already included in previous parts. Under the name “A-Life 2.0” you will control the status of the world as well as the behavior of the characters and mutants, which should make the zone more vivid than ever before.
More information about the game can already be found on the Xbox Wire.
