Another day with new information on Cyberpunk 2077. This time the dates for the preload were revealed. In addition, a first patch has been published, which is again causing confusion.
In the coming week, the action role-playing game Cyberpunk 2077 will finally be released for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Google Stadia. The digital buyers can also prepare for the publication, CD Projekt RED also has the official dates for the preload announced.
Accordingly, Xbox One players have been able to download the game since yesterday evening, while PlayStation 4 players have to wait until December 8, 2020. On the PC you can start the download on Monday, December 7th, 2020. At 12 noon, GOG users can first download Cyberpunk 2077, which will be followed by Steam and the Epic Games Store at 5 pm.
And elsewhere, the confusion around the Day-One update goes into the next round. After the first players came into possession of the retail version, reports about a supposedly extensive Day One patch made the rounds. As it turned out, the 56GB update size addressed was not an update. Instead, it is the installation data that is uploaded before the first game start.
But in the meantime, a first update has also appeared. On Twitter, the DreamcastGuy has informed that Cyberpunk 2077 requires an update. This is specified with a size of 43.5 GB and is therefore extremely extensive. For this reason, it was assumed that this is already the day-one patch.
