Through an official statement on social media, Toys For Bob has denied the presence of microtransactions in Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time.
In the past few hours, the video game developer Toys for Bob has said that Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time will not have microtransactions inside the game, after some details released through the Microsoft Store page had raised doubts in the public.
It is because of what the Microsoft page reported, the game seemed to offer items that can be purchased in-game, in fact, in addition to the phrase under the “Preorder” button, we can read the words: “Offers in-app purchases”.
Therefore, through its official Twitter account, Toys For Bob has decided to respond clearly to the fans and to resolve, as quickly as possible, the misunderstanding that was brought online.
“We’re seeing confusion about #MTX in @CrashBandicoot 4 and want to be crystal clear: There are NO MICROTRANSACTIONS in #Crash4. As a bonus, the Totally Tubular skins are included in all digital versions of the game.”
The title of Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time, presented during the Summer Game Fest, has been making a lot of talk since the publication of the first trailer, also thanks to the interesting information released by the development studio. Also due to the latest declarations, the new game of Activision and Toys for Bob will have more than 100 levels, along with new game modes and exclusive skills.
Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time will be available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One from October 2nd, so we just have to wait for more information.
