Ys Origin, the retro cult-JRPG from the developer and publisher Dotemu, arrives on Nintendo Switch, and finally has a release date, set for October 1st. Nintendo fans who want to get this title, therefore, don’t have to wait very long.
Additionally, Dotemu has partnered with Strictly Limited Games to offer fans in Europe the choice between two physical editions: the Limited Edition and the Collector’s Edition. Both can be pre-ordered here.
Ys Origin tells the story of the knight Yunica Tovah and the wizard Hugo Fact, two fighters in search of the Goddess who abandoned them. The duo will have to fight the demonic forces that keep hindering their path in a huge tower before the beasts reach the sanctuary of humanity in the clouds. With lots of loot to collect, distinct scenarios and a different play style for each character, Ys Origin is a deep and great RPG experience.
Ys Origin initially released on PC in December 2006, and then landed on Steam in May 2012, on PS4 in February 2017, on PS Vita in May 2017 and on Xbox One in April 2018.
