Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2 Remastered collection has been officially announced and it’s coming to PS4, XBO and Epic Games Store (EGS) for PC on September 4. The legendary skateboarding game has been brought back in collaboration with Activision and developer Vicarious Visions. The collection which includes Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2, the remastered version will be available for PS4 on September 4, 2020.
The remastered version also includes original levels, skaters, tricks, modes, and songs from the iconic soundtrack and also new ways to play online multiplayer. Notably, the original Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater game was launched on PlayStation back in August 1999 bringing 3D gameplay to the console.
Notably, Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1 and 2 will feature the full original roster of pro skaters from the turn of the 21st century. This will include Steve Caballero, Geoff Rowley, Bucky Lasek, Elissa Steamer, Kareem Campbell, Andrew Reynolds, Bob Burnquist, Eric Koston, Rodney Mullen, Jamie Thomas, Rune Glifberg, Chad Muska… and Tony Hawk.
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2 remaster also feature all the original levels from the first two games in the franchise. Players will be able to play solo with goals old and new, with a buddy for local co-op, or online with original multiplayer game modes.
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2 will be available globally and it the US with a suggested price of $39.99. There is also a Digital Deluxe version and Collector’s Edition. The Digital Deluxe edition includes unique content and gear and will be available for the suggested retail price in the U.S. of $49.99.
While the Collector’s Edition will cost a suggested retail price of $99.99 in the U.S and includes a limited-run fully skateable Birdhouse deck. The deck features the iconic Falcon 2 design with a printed autograph from the birdman.
