Various Japanese studios gathered to carry out the New Game+ Expo event. Nihon Falcom was present with very good news for players waiting for The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel IV in the West.
The company promised that the final game of its JRPG saga would be available in the western region this year. Fortunately, Nihon Falcom will keep his word, as today revealed the release date of the title for PlayStation 4. The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel IV will release first for the Sony console on October 27. On that day it will be available to both American and European players.
The JRPG will also have versions for Nintendo Switch and PC. But, they will take a little longer to arrive. For now there is no specific date, but we know that they will debut sometime in 2021.
The PC version of The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel IV will be distributed through Steam and GOG. The game will be available in digital format, but will also have a physical release. Below is its latest trailer that shows a bit of gameplay.
This new installment can be purchased in a limited edition for consoles called Frontline Edition, which will include a physical copy of the title, an art book and its soundtrack. In addition, there will be a $99.99 Limited Edition with the game, a collection box, a record with a soundtrack, a more complete art book, a steelbook, a fabric poster and 7 art collectible cards.
The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel IV will debut on October 27 for PlayStation 4. The JRPG will release on Nintendo Switch and PC in 2021.
