The publisher Focus Home Interactive, who specializes in AA productions, is also part of this year’s The Game Awards. As it is officially said, the company would like to use the event for two “major reveals.”
In the course of tonight, The Game Awards 2020 will probably be the last major event of the slowly fading video game year 2020, where no less than a dozen world premieres will be presented.
After selected studios confirmed their participation in The Game Awards 2020 in the past few days, it was now the turn of the Paris-based publisher Focus Home Interactive. As the company announced, they will also be present and use the event produced and moderated by Geoff Keighley to make two big announcements.
Those responsible at Focus Home Interactive have not been able to elicit further details about the upcoming announcement. In the past few years, the publisher has concentrated primarily on AA productions, which were largely created with the developers at Spiders Studios.
Since Spiders was taken over by its competitor Nacon in the summer of last year, the focus of Focus Home Interactive will shift to other studios in the future.
Including the German developer Deck 13, which in the past mainly attracted attention with works such as Lords of the Fallen or The Surge and was bought by Focus Home Interactive in June 2020. As has been confirmed, Deck 13 is working with Focus Home Interactive on a still-secret project.
It is quite conceivable that this is one of the titles that will be presented at The Game Awards 2020.
