To recall, the Stadia Controller Wireless Play Support was only available on TV using a Chromecast Ultra since its launch. But now, Google has expanded the Stadia Controller Wireless Play support by bringing it to the desktop and laptop. Stadia on Tuesday announced that starting this week, the Stadia Controller Wireless Play support will be available for Desktop and Laptop.
Now, Stadia players will no longer need to connect their Stadia Controller physically to their computers or laptops to play their favorite games. Instead, they’ll now be able to link their Stadia Controller and Stadia.com through their Wi-Fi network and play without a USB-C cable connection.
Now it seems that the feature is already live for many Stadia users on their desktops and laptop. However, the Stadia Controller Wireless Play Support is not currently available for mobile tablet users.
To check or start playing with the Stadia Controller Wirelessly on your desktop PC and laptop make sure you have the latest version of Chrome Browser on your platform. Next, you will need to connect your Stadia controller to your local Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth network and relaunch the stadia chrome app.
