Metroid fans have spent years waiting for more games with the adventures of Samus Aran. But it cannot be denied that in the recent time of the Japanese company the love for the IP of Metroid Prime Trilogy is rising pretty well.
We know that Metroid Prime 4 is in development but the project has shown no progress and this has led fans to ask that at least Metroid Prime Trilogy come to Nintendo Switch. Although there is nothing official, the desire is still alive, as per a recent leak.
According to a report, a small online store in Sweden, Inet, made a publication with an alleged edition of Metroid Prime Trilogy for Switch which, according to the information presented on the site, will arrive on the hybrid console on 19th of June.
It is worth mentioning that after the publication began to be noticed in networks and media, the site removed it. This new announcement is made in the framework of recent reports that Pikmin 3 and Metroid Prime Trilogy are on their way to Switch.
So far, Nintendo has not revealed anything related to Metroid. But it is noteworthy that fans of the franchise have concentrated their efforts on getting the Wii trilogy that brought together the 3 installments of Metroid Prime to debut on the hybrid console.
