Are you a fan of Mass Effect? We have good news regarding the title that could interest you: a source assures that the remastered version that Electronic Arts is preparing would be a relaunch of the Mass Effect Trilogy.
According to information from Jeff Grub, a journalist who writes for VentureBeat and who has previously leaked reliable information, Electronic Arts is planning to remaster the first 3 installments of Mass Effect.
According to their sources, the new version of Mass Effect Trilogy will not initially be available on Nintendo Switch. “Oh, and that HD remaster of an EA game is the Mass Effect Trilogy. Just don’t expect that to also launch on Switch — at least not at first,” the journalist confirmed on his website.
This suggests that the plan is to launch Mass Effect Trilogy HD Remaster on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Nor can we rule out that this possible launch has improvements on next-generation platforms. However, it is important to clarify that, for the moment, a remastered version of the Mass Effect Trilogy is not confirmed. So you better take this information with a grain of salt.
That said, it is important to note that Electronic Arts itself is working on a remastered version, which will be revealed sometime in the coming months. We will be keeping an eye on it and we will inform you when we know more about it.
