Bethesda Softworks and developer MachineGames have announced a special free update for the action-adventure game “Indiana Jones and the Great Circle”. Called the MachineGames Anniversary Update, it will launch on October 10 to mark the studio’s 15th year in business. The update adds fresh content and fixes that fans have been asking for, making the game even better to play.
The update brings three main new features. First, it adds a New Game Plus mode. This lets players start the story over with all their items and skills from the first playthrough, so they can explore the world again with more power and find hidden secrets they might have missed.
Second, it includes a new ending scene that unlocks only after finishing New Game Plus, giving players an extra bit of story to enjoy. Third, there’s a new outfit for Indiana Jones based on his classic look from the movie “Raiders of the Lost Ark” – without the jacket, perfect for hot desert adventures like those in Giza.
On top of that, players can now mix and match voice languages with subtitles in different languages, making the game more fun for people around the world. The update also fixes some small problems in the recently released extra content called “The Order of Giants” DLC.
“Indiana Jones and the Great Circle” is a first-person adventure set in 1937, where players control the famous archaeologist as he travels the world to stop evil forces from uncovering an ancient secret tied to the Great Circle. The game came out in 2024 and has been praised for its exciting action, puzzles, and movie-like storytelling. It’s available on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC through Steam, with a version for Nintendo Switch 2 planned for later.
