The upcoming conference of Microsoft for Xbox Series X games has been confirmed for July 23. Although the list of titles that will be presented has not been specified. The presence of Halo Infinite from 343 Industries has been confirmed, which will be the first big Halo title since the launch of Halo 5: Guardians in 2015.
According to the latest rumors, it seems that this presentation will be dedicated to the gameplay campaign of the Halo Infinite. This could potentially mean that no gameplay dedicated to multiplayer will be shown, but being only rumors this cannot be taken for granted.
“Save the date! We’re excited to share what the team’s been working on – the first look at Halo Infinite’s Campaign is coming on July 23! You’ll be able to catch the show on Xbox.com and pretty much everywhere else you may expect, including Xbox’s Twitch, YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook. We’ll see you in two weeks,” the official Halo website mentions on its blog.
According to some recent rumors, the Echo 216 will act as a game menu for the single player campaign, and it is within this medium that our Master Chief will be able to change his Loadout, browse the missions, add the skulls and change the difficulty of play.
It would seem that as we face the campaign we will come across exactly 4 different environments in the open world, including a Taiga and a snowy landscape, as we have already noticed from the trailers released so far.
It also appears that around twenty main missions will be available: the latter will be linear in nature and once completed they will automatically go to the next area. Also, there should be secondary missions, in addition to the countless random encounters scattered throughout the areas of the game world.
Halo Infinite will release later this year during the holiday season for Xbox One, Xbox Series X and PC.
