This week the Polish developer studio CD Projekt RED also presented its annual report for the quarter that recently ended. As part of the report, those responsible at CD Projekt talked about the upcoming role-playing game Cyberpunk 2077, which has been postponed several times in the past.
As CD Projekt assured, no further delay is to be feared. As a result, Cyberpunk 2077 will be released on December 10, 2020 for consoles and PC as planned.
It goes on to say that the various games in The Witcher series still have an impact on CD Projekt’s sales that should not be underestimated. The Witcher games have generated sales of US $28 million in the past quarter alone.
The switch version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt developed by Saber Interactive celebrated the greatest successes, and in the first half of the business year of CD Projekt RED, it increased sales by a full 70%.
Current sales figures for the various adventures of The Witcher series were not named. Remember that Cyberpunk 2077 will release on December 10, 2020 for the PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Google Stadia. The game is confirmed to be upgraded for the PS5 and Xbox Series X in the coming year.
