There has long been evidence of a release of Call of Duty 2: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered. Now, these rumours have intensified and even a trailer has been leaked, along with the screenshots. The game is said to be released on March 31 today.
The official trailer for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered can be seen via a Twitter account that correctly named the release date of Call of Duty Warzone. Screenshots from the campaign were also leaked. That alone is quite clear evidence that we can count on the remaster.
The trailer also shows a DLC package with content for COD: Modern Warfare and Warzone. The package includes weapon blueprints, emblems and badges as well as a classic ghost skin in the original design of Modern Warfare 2.
However, the European Playstation Store also briefly showed the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Remaster. March 31 was even mentioned as the release date. This could make the game appear without real notice.
All of this looks credible, but an official confirmation from Activision is still pending. We’ll see if Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered will be released today. In the meantime, check out the leaked screenshots below.
Call of Duty is a series of computer games from publisher Activision. The player usually takes on the role of a soldier in a war scenario. The first part of the series was published in autumn 2003 and takes place in the Second World War.
