In Stellar Blade, Nano Suits are outfits you can collect to change Eve’s appearance. They’re purely cosmetic, except for the Skin Suit, which removes shields and makes the game harder. There are 91 Nano Suits in the base game, with 40 available in your first playthrough, 34 variants in New Game Plus (NG+), and 17 added via updates or DLC, like the NieR: Automata collaboration. Collecting 30 suits unlocks the Nano Suit Collector trophy.

Most suits are found in chests or bought from shops, and some require crafting at a Repair Console using materials like 25 Extreme Polymer, 50 Advanced Polymer, and 75 Polymer. The guide below explores all 40 Nano Suits and their locations by region in the Stellar Blade game.

How to Use Nano Suits

  • Find or Buy: Suits come as Design Patterns from chests, quests, or shops in Xion.
  • Craft: Visit a Repair Console at Supply Camps or with Lily to craft suits using Polymers, found in crates or bought from Kara at Sisters’ Junk in Xion.
  • Equip: Press Options, go to Equipment, select Nano Suits under Exterior, and choose your outfit. Uncrafted suits won’t appear.
  • Skin Suit Warning: Unequipping any suit puts Eve in the Skin Suit, which removes shields, increasing damage taken.

Below are the 40 Nano Suits in the base game, organized by region, with clear steps to find each. NG+ variants are noted where applicable (same locations, different colors, available only if you got the base suit). DLC and patch suits are listed separately.

Default Suits (2)

  • Skin Suit: Automatically equipped if no suit is worn. No crafting needed. NG+ Variant: None.
  • Planet Diving Suit (7th): Eve’s starting suit, available from the beginning. No crafting needed. NG+ Variant: Planet Diving Suit (7th) V3.

Eidos 7 (3)

  • Planet Diving Suit (7th) V2: After riding the monorail in the Flooded Commercial Sector, go down the stairs to a partially open door. Open the chest inside. NG+ Variant: None.
  • Red Passion: In the construction zone, after getting all three Crane ID Cards, use the crane to break the right wall. Move metal beams to reach a nook with the chest. NG+ Variant: Emerald Passion.
  • Wasteland Adventurer: In the Flooded Commercial Sector, go to the southwest corner near a rope at the bottom level. The chest is by the rope. NG+ Variant: Wasteland Explorer.

Xion – Shops and Quests (14)

  • Keyhole Suit: Buy from Roxanne’s shop near the Bulletin Board for 8 Vitcoins at Affinity Level 3. NG+ Variant: Keyhole Dress.
  • Planet Diving Suit (2nd): Buy from Roxanne for 3 Vitcoins at Affinity Level 2. NG+ Variant: Planet Diving Suit (2nd) V2.
  • Exploration Suit: Buy from Roxanne for 5 Vitcoins at Affinity Level 2. NG+ Variant: Orca Pathfinder.
  • Cybernetic Dress: Buy from Roxanne for 6 Vitcoins at Affinity Level 3. NG+ Variant: Cybernetic Suit.
  • Daily Biker: Buy from Lyle’s General Store (near Xion’s entrance) for 4 Vitcoins at Affinity Level 2 after completing the “Stolen Treasure” quest (unlocked after Altess Levoire). NG+ Variant: Four Seconds Biker.
  • Daily Denim: Buy from Lyle for 5 Vitcoins at Affinity Level 2 after “Stolen Treasure.” NG+ Variant: Four Seconds Denim.
  • Black Full Dress: Buy from Lyle for 6 Vitcoins at Affinity Level 3 after “Stolen Treasure.” NG+ Variant: White Full Dress.
  • Junk Mechanic: Buy from Lyle for 5 Vitcoins at Affinity Level 3 after “Stolen Treasure.” NG+ Variant: Junk Engineer.
  • Daily Knitted Dress: Buy from Kaya at Sisters’ Junk for 4 Vitcoins at Affinity Level 2. NG+ Variant: Comfort Knitted Dress.
  • Sky Ace: Complete Kaya’s side quests “The Scavenger’s Story” and “Encounter” in Xion. Given as a reward. NG+ Variant: Air Ace.
  • Fluffy Bear: Complete the “Memories in the Doll” side quest. After the Matrix 11 main story, talk to Jett in the teddy bear house north of The Last Gulp. NG+ Variant: Pink Bear.
  • Black Pearl: Collect all 49 cans in the game. Check a separate can location guide for details. NG+ Variant: Red Pearl.
  • La Vie en Rose: Complete the “Recruit Passcode Specialists” side quest from Xion’s Bulletin Board. Collect six Prayer databanks in the Wasteland, then open the locked shipping container. NG+ Variant: Angelic Rose.
  • FourSeconds Everyday Wear: Complete the “Photography Club” side quest from Xion’s Bulletin Board. Take photos of all butterflies in the Wasteland. NG+ Variant: None.

Wasteland (8)

  • Racer’s High: North of the Solar Tower, climb a slope with three enemies. Defeat them, go east, and jump to a lower ledge to find the chest. NG+ Variant: Speeder’s High.
  • Holiday Rabbit: In the northeast, near D1G-g2r, follow a path south. Defeat the Corrupter Naytiba boss to access the chest. NG+ Variant: Holiday Bunny.
  • Cyber Magician: From the Holiday Rabbit chest, follow a narrow looping path to a small area past a payphone. Shoot 10 white floating targets within 30 seconds to unlock the chest. NG+ Variant: Cyber Trickster.
  • Sporty Yellow: During the “Life of the Scavengers” side quest, descend into the Wasteland’s Forbidden Area pit. Defeat the Brute boss, then check a hidden room behind the arena for the chest. NG+ Variant: Sporty Energy.
  • Black Wave: From the Debris-Filled Entryway Supply Camp, go east to a destroyed building with a yellow crate on top. Move the crate, use ledges and swing poles, then double jump and dash to a rooftop chest. NG+ Variant: Wild Wave.
  • Blue Monsoon: Complete three Bulletin Board tasks in Xion, starting with “Missing Husband,” to unlock this chest in the Great Desert’s Buried Ruins. NG+ Variant: White Monsoon.
  • Cybernetic Bondage: At the Oasis, dive to the bottom to find the chest. Get the passcode from a corpse in the southwest, near a tower. Jump on floating drones, swing on a rope, and open a metal gate to reach it. NG+ Variant: Autonetic Bondage.
  • Moutan Peony: In the western Wasteland, north of the Solar Tower, open a chest near a new supply camp added in a 2025 patch. NG+ Variant: None.

Great Desert (3)

  • Daily Sailor: In the northwestern Great Desert, enter a destroyed building. Shoot explosives blocking a yellow object, drag it to a ledge, and climb to the top floor to find the chest. NG+ Variant: Comfort Sailor.
  • Daily Mascot: From the abandoned Hideout, climb a ladder to a shrine, then jump to a platform across to open the chest. NG+ Variant: Comfort Mascot.
  • Daily Force: In the northeastern Wasteland near D1G-g2r, solve a pressure plate puzzle to open a new section with the chest. NG+ Variant: Comfort Force.

Matrix 11 (2)

  • Motivation: Inside a train marked “Save Us” in Matrix 11. Defeat Naytiba enemies guarding the entrance, then open the chest inside. NG+ Variant: Resonance.
  • Punk Top: South of the Eidos 9 parking structure, near train tracks, climb a small roof after defeating two enemies to find the chest. NG+ Variant: Punk Style.

Abyss Levoire (1)

  • Planet Diving Suit (3rd): In the Closed Lobby after the saw blade platforming section, take a right corridor offshoot. Defeat enemies, avoid lasers, and open the chest. NG+ Variant: Planet Diving Suit (3rd) V2.

Eidos 9 (2)

  • Planet Diving Suit (6th): From the second Cocoon, head down to the surface and north to a building with stone pillars. Climb the southwest corner, use windows to reach the roof, enter an open door, and go left to the chest. NG+ Variant: Planet Diving Suit (6th) V2.
  • Orca Exploration Suit: After the roller coaster slide toward Lily’s atelier, defeat two enemies, climb a small roof, and open the chest. NG+ Variant: Orca Techie.

Spire 4 (3)

  • Photogenic: After the Karakuri boss fight, follow the path past the camp, jump the railing, and open the chest. NG+ Variant: Telegenic.
  • Black Rose: In the Raphael Space Center, disarm lasers to access the chest. NG+ Variant: None.
  • Ocean Maid: Catch all 25 fish in the Fishing Journal by fishing at spots in the Great Desert’s Oasis or buying bait from Clyde. NG+ Variant: None.

Story and Collectibles (2)

  • Raven Suit: Automatically unlocked after beating the game’s main story. NG+ Variant: None.
  • Prototype Planet Diving Suit: Complete a hoard combat challenge in the Wasteland’s Closed Lobby laser room, after the deadly fan room. NG+ Variant: Prototype Planet Diving Suit V2.

DLC and Patch Suits (17)

  • Stargazer Suit: Open a chest near the Tetrapod before Xion’s bridge if you own the Deluxe Edition. NG+ Variant: None.
  • Black Kunoichi, White Kunoichi, Midsummer Redhood, Midsummer Alice: Added in the NieR: Automata DLC (November 20, 2024). Buy from Emil’s Store in Xion for 2 Stellar Tears each.
  • YoRHa No.2 Type B Uniform, YoRHa Uniform 1, YoRHa Unofficial: Also from NieR: Automata DLC, bought from Emil’s Store for 2 Stellar Tears each.
  • Neurolink Suit: Complete the “Cat Photo Exhibition” side quest in Xion, finding all cats in the Cold City.
  • FourSeconds Destroyed Denim: Complete the “Like Butterflies” side quest, photographing all butterflies in the Wasteland. NG+ Variant: None.
  • FourSeconds Black Denim: Same as FourSeconds Destroyed Denim, added via patch.
  • War Dress: Complete the “Pisces” side quest in Xion, finding all fish in the Great Desert. NG+ Variant: None.
  • Crimson Wings: Added in a 2025 patch, found in a new chest in the Wasteland’s Forbidden Area.
  • Wave Diver Bikini, Wave Oblique Monokini: Added in 2025 patches, bought from Roxanne for 6 Vitcoins at Affinity Level 3.
  • Santa Dress: Added in a 2025 patch, found in a chest in Matrix 11’s human safehouse.
  • Cyber Illusionist: Added in a 2025 patch, complete a new combat challenge in the Great Desert’s Buried Ruins.
  • Royal Guard Suit: Reward for beating Mann in Boss Challenge mode, added in a 2025 patch.

Tips for Success

  • Increase Shop Affinity: Buy items from Roxanne, Lyle, or Kaya to raise their Affinity Level, unlocking more suits. Talk to them often.
  • Craft Promptly: Craft suits at Repair Consoles right after finding Design Patterns to avoid losing track.
  • Stock Polymers: Collect Polymers from crates or buy them from Kara in Xion to craft suits.
  • Explore Thoroughly: Check every corner of regions, especially after bosses or puzzles, as chests are often hidden.
  • Save Side Quests: Complete Xion Bulletin Board quests like “Stolen Treasure” or “Recruit Passcode Specialists” to unlock multiple suits.
  • Plan for NG+: Grab all base suits in your first playthrough to access their variants in NG+. Some suits, like Crew Style, are NG+-only.
