Capcom has shared some updates about Resident Evil Requiem, the next big game in the survival horror series, set to launch on February 27, 2026. Fans who saw a demo at Gamescom 2025 are hoping for a chance to play it at home, and Capcom has responded. In a recent talk with IGN, director Koshi Nakanishi said they are listening to what players think after trying the demo at events. He didn’t promise a downloadable version yet, but hinted they might make one later based on feedback.
The game introduces a new character, Grace Ashcroft, an FBI agent, but fans are excited about the possibility of seeing old favorites return. Nakanishi didn’t confirm anyone specific, like Leon S. Kennedy, but said the team wants to surprise players with a mix of new and familiar faces. Grace’s mother, Alyssa, is already back, and Capcom is working to keep the story connected to the series’ past while adding fresh ideas.
More details might come closer to the release date, so keep an eye on Capcom’s official news for updates.
