Bandai Namco has announced that Dragon Ball: Gekishin Squadra, previously known as Dragon Ball Project: Multi, will now launch on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch, alongside PC, iOS, and Android versions. This free-to-play, team-based battle game brings 4v4 action to the Dragon Ball universe and is set to release in 2025.
A network test is scheduled across all platforms from June 12 at 8:00 AM to June 16 at 7:59 AM (Italian time), 2025, letting players try the game early. The test, titled “Dragon Ball Gekishin Squadra Exhibition Match” on some platforms, will feature characters like Goku, Vegeta, and Piccolo in roles such as Damage, Tank, or Technical. Players can level up during matches, unlock powerful moves, and customize heroes with skins and animations.
New features include Divine Draw, which adds random match rules, and Gekishin Burst, a strategic move for defeating bosses. Cross-play and cross-save support ensure seamless play across devices. The test follows a 2024 beta, with improvements like removing the Great Ape mechanic for balance.
Fans can wishlist the game on PlayStation Store or Steam, with mobile and Switch store pages coming soon. No exact release date is set, but the test will help refine the game. Check the official site for sign-up details and dive into this exciting Dragon Ball MOBA!
