The launch of Cyberpunk 2077 is now around the corner, with the debut date set for December 10 for all major consoles. From this moment on, the first reviews of CD Projekt RED’s work are starting to appear online and, as widely predicted, are definitely positive.
It, therefore, seems that, after the excellent success with The Witcher 3, the Polish software house has repeated a possible success again. Those who also have already confirmed that they want to put their hands on the title are the collective of modders of the WolvenKit of The Witcher 3.
The group has in fact announced that it certainly wants to put hand and extend the already vast game world with new and spectacular additional fan-made and completely free content (obviously we are talking about the PC gaming world). These are the words of the group representatives:
“Now that we are so close to the release date of cp77, we are preparing to upgrade the community modding tools for The Witcher 3 – WolvenKit – to also support Cyberpunk! WolvenKit is a community open source project that allows for almost complete modding support for TW3, including but massively surpassing the official modding tools of the game.”
A few days after the official release, the modder team got in touch with the development studio in order to receive all the necessary tools to ensure compatibility and stability of their mods on the official title. In past titles, the modder group has used the WolvenKit for various tasks such as unlocking functionality in debug scripts, editing in-game scenes, and much more. A future certainly rich in contents, both original and not, which lies ahead for the sci-fi title soon available all over the world.
Cyberpunk 2077 will be officially released on December 10 for PC, Google Stadia, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One and later also for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X through the release of the next-gen patch.
